MESS Sarajevo Festival and the Youth Initiative for Human Rights Belgrade are hereby announcing Call for Applications for contemporary local dramatic text written in a South Slavic language that would promote optimism of the new generation about relations between Belgrade and Sarajevo, committedly and critically reexamine prejudice, confront us with the recent past, as well as offer hope that better relations between these cities and a more prosperous future of the entire region are possible. »»
The Belgrade Declaration sent to the institutions

The network of the Youth Initiative for Human Rights in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Kosovo sent the Belgrade Declaration to all the institutions of the Western Balkan states and the European Union on 10 December 2009, the International Human Rights Day. The Belgrade Declaration was unanimously adopted by 300 young people from the Western Balkans, the participants of the Belgrade Summit, held from 4 to 6 December. »»
Belgrade Declaration Adopted

The Belgrade Declaration, containing demands which shall be submitted this week to governments of the Western Balkan states and to the European Union, was adopted on December 5, 2009, at the Belgrade Summit. The Declaration was unanimously upheld by 300 participants of the Summit from Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia and Kosovo. »»
INITIATIVE FOUNDATION
The Foundation was established by activists gathered around the Youth Initiative for Human Rights throughout the Balkan region. The aim of this endeavor is to strengthen the youth capacities on the local level, to support the progressive individuals and organizations in their strivings to reform the societies of the former Yugoslavia, and to strengthen local philanthropy of the youth and their regional cooperation. »»
