Regional Internship Programme

The Youth Initiative for Human Rights (YIHR) is pleased to announce an open competition for the Regional Internship Programme (RIP).
The Regional Internship Programme will grant the first group of 8 interns from Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo to partake in an internship with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in the Hague in the duration of 5 months and an internship at national war crimes courts/prosecutors’ offices or local institutions and organisations dealing with war crimes in the duration of 3 months. »» |

The Belgrade Declaration sent to the institutions

The network of the Youth Initiative for Human Rights in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Kosovo sent the Belgrade Declaration to all the institutions of the Western Balkan states and the European Union on 10 December 2009, the International Human Rights Day. The Belgrade Declaration was unanimously adopted by 300 young people from the Western Balkans, the participants of the Belgrade Summit, held from 4 to 6 December. »» |

INITIATIVE FOUNDATION
The Foundation was established by activists gathered around the Youth Initiative for Human Rights throughout the Balkan region. The aim of this endeavor is to strengthen the youth capacities on the local level, to support the progressive individuals and organizations in their strivings to reform the societies of the former Yugoslavia, and to strengthen local philanthropy of the youth and their regional cooperation. »» |
