My Initiative movement organized action titled “Serbia has stopped”, within We are Important election turnout campaign. Action took place in Knez Mihajlova Street in Belgrade, in 1 pm. »»

Today a group of hooligans attacked activist of My Initiative movement, who organized an action within camera caravan. One of the attackers plugged out the speaker cables saying: “Vehabijas, motherfuckers, get out of Nis”, and camera operator of the caravan was attacked. Police officer, who came when organizers called, instead of doing his job, was trying to “make peace” between the attackers and victims saying “he knows the attackers from the neighborhood, and that he does not want to make them angry”. This is the fifth attack on My Initiative activists in Nis in the last year. »»

Through its My Initiative Youth Network, Youth Initiative for Human Rights (YIHR) has launched We are important! campaign. We are addressing young people from 18 to 30 years old, with the intent to animate them to use their voting right and vote at the May 11 elections. »»

The Foundation was established by activists gathered around the Youth Initiative for Human Rights throughout the Balkan region.
